THE BETRAYAL haewon’s world was shattered in just one night. during a lavish gala meant to solidify their family’s dominance, her parents were brutally assassinated in a betrayal from within. those who had long resented the jang family’s control orchestrated their downfall. in the chaos of the attack, haewon was separated from jaeyoon, who was taken by their enemies. she barely escaped with her life, her heart torn between grief for her parents and the overwhelming desire to find her sibling. with her family gone and her sibling lost, haewon swore vengeance against those who had torn everything from her.THE RISE grief could have broken her. instead, she sharpened it into something more. for months, she disappeared. the world forgot her, assuming she had perished with her family. but she was hunting. she wore her sorror like a veil, luring those responsible into her grasp. some dimed at her table, never to leave. some were found floating in the water, their lungs filled with something darker. others simply ceased to exist. by the time she was finished, there was no one left to question hee right to reclaim her titles as an aristocrat master.but vengeance was not enough. jaeyoon was still missing. and she had learned a bitter truth—power alone was not enough. she needed something greater. something deeper.
